Skills Based &
Vocational Education
space
Vocational, or skills-based, education is becoming more important today, with many employers expecting new employees to have all the practical skills they need to start work. Vocational courses are typically more practical and skills-based than academic degrees, but they are often taught at universities as well as colleges and technical institutes.

Which Skills Based and Vocational Education course is right for you?
When you're searching for a skills based training program, you need to have a good idea of what your career will involve. Look for a university, college or institute that specialises in that field, and has teachers with recent experience in the industry.

Types of Skills Based and Vocational Education course
Vocational programs usually provide you with a Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma when you graduate. Some vocational courses can also lead into an undergraduate degree or further post-graduate study. It will depend on the course and where you study. Your course may take just one semester, or many years of skills based learning. Either way, you will have the practical skills you need for a brilliant new career when you finish.
