The University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC), a member of the prestigious University of Wales, attracts some 8,000 students from all parts of the UK and from across the world - 40 different countries are represented within our student body. UWIC's graduate employment statistics show that 95 per cent of UWIC students have found employment or have enrolled for higher-level courses within three months of completing their studies.
We are the largest Further and Higher Education College in the UK, with a total of over 44,000 students, 6,000 full-time. Our international students come from 40 different countries world-wide. Newcastle College is investing millions of pounds creating a wonderful study environment. In November 2004, the college opened its £21 million Music and Performing Arts Centre - the biggest and most modern in the FE sector in the UK.
