Not everyone wants to go to university.

In fact, in most countries more people take skills based or vocational training than go to university. So what is skills based training?

Well, it is what it says. Training or education on a specific career skills or area. Colleges, both government run and private, offer thousands of skills based or vocational training courses.

Courses can range from a few days brushing up on a skills for a statement of attainment, to a 2 year diploma.
